BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-The Bowling Green Board of Education held a special meeting where they hired Hollie Parsons as the new EMIS specialist, replacing Esther Moosbrugger. Superintendent Ted Haselman emphasized the importance of the role, noting Parsons’ eight years of experience in a neighboring district.
The EMIS specialist is responsible for reporting district data to the state to ensure access to state and federal funding. Parsons, previously at Lake Local Schools, will receive an annual salary of $73,000. Additionally, Assistant Treasurer Richelle Oberlin was temporarily reassigned as interim treasurer until July 31, when Matt Feasel will assume the role permanently starting August 1.
