BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-The Bowling Green League of Women Voters hosted a unique candidate event called “Face2Face” where voters had the opportunity to interact directly with candidates for school and city offices. Instead of traditional forums, candidates sat at round tables, allowing citizens to ask questions and engage in conversation.
Topics ranged from rental housing inspections to school funding and infrastructure development. The new format aimed to provide citizens with a more personal and direct interaction with the candidates, enabling them to pose their own questions and gauge the candidates’ responses.
