LEWISTOWN, Ohio-Lorena Knox, a ninth-grade student at Indian Lake High School, has become involved in several youth leadership programs through Envision WorldStrides. Her journey began in seventh grade when she was nominated by her science teacher to attend a prestigious leadership program in Washington, D.C. After raising funds with her mother, Lorena attended the program, where she was particularly moved by a visit to Arlington Cemetery, sparking her interest in history and leadership.
