BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-Bowling Green City Schools has recently undertaken various acts of kindness and support within the community. Initiatives include sending all fifth graders to camp regardless of financial constraints, providing transportation to victims of an apartment fire, discreetly offering toiletry items to students in need, and receiving generous donations totaling nearly $11,000 for school supplies, library books, and the orchestra program. Additionally, student achievements in sports were celebrated, and preparations for the annual Dear Santa program are underway to ensure students have a joyful holiday season. Board of Education President Jill Carr encouraged focusing on these positive efforts and spreading kindness throughout the community.
