WOOSTER, Ohio-The Pregnancy Care Center (PCC) of Wayne County has seen a 125% increase in the demand for medical services in 2022. To address this surge, PCC recently inaugurated its new medical clinic wing, offering comprehensive medical care for women, including pregnancy and STI testing, ultrasounds, and prenatal and postpartum education.
The expansion provides a dedicated space for patients, ensuring privacy and comfort during medical procedures. Nurse Manager Melissa Ward, who initially sought guidance from PCC during her teenage pregnancy, emphasizes the empathy and support provided to patients.
