The village of Genoa hosted a community prayer Wednesday to remember the teen who drowned in the quarry at Veterans Memorial Park. On June 25, 16-year-old Ian Lawton drowned in the quarry. Lawton was not from Genoa, but the community feels they have lost a friend.
