A GoFundMe campaign has been created to support a 10-year-old girl who witnessed her mother’s death during a domestic violence incident in Vermilion last week. The child called police Thursday, July 10, while hiding with her mother, Ashlee McPeak, 34, of Virginia Beach, as they fled from Ashlee’s boyfriend, Bryan Hall, according to police and published reports.
