There’s a new program in Fulton County that is preparing kids for the classroom.
Wauseon schools, the Fulton County Health Department, the public library along with local non-profit It All Matters have teamed up to boost early literacy through the generous donations of Dr. Jayantilal and Prafulla Galani.
Educators say if kids learn to read at an early age, they are less likely to fall into poverty.
The Little Indian Welcome Backpacks are given to interested families with kids ages zero to five years old.
