The 13 First Alert Weather Team has issued a First Alert Weather Day for Thursday due to the high heat index forecasted. Air temperatures are expected to rise into the low to mid 90s Thursday afternoon and the heat index, or feels-like temperature, is forecasted to be at or above 100 degrees for several hours.
