A Columbus man will spend over four decades in prison after pleading guilty to killing his pregnant girlfriend and her unborn child in 2024. Devon Blair, 24, pleaded guilty in Franklin County Common Pleas to one count of strangulation and two counts each of involuntary manslaughter and felonious assault. The judge sentenced him to 46 to 51.5 years in prison. He also received two years for a previous domestic violence case that included assault for spitting on Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies.
