The Macedonia Police Department is recognizing the efforts of Dispatchers Alita Fratantonio and Jessica Becker, along with Patrolman Nick Szaibel and Sergeant Mike Plesz, for their quick response in safely recovering a stolen vehicle with a three-month-old infant inside.
On January 24 at 4:31 p.m., the Macedonia 911 Communications Center received a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert from the Ohio State Highway Patrol regarding a stolen vehicle out of Stark County.
The car, which contained the infant, had last been seen on I-77 North and was believed to be headed toward Cleveland.
