Two mothers are coming together on a mission to help Tri-State families of children with autism. Thursday, Leslie Williams, Board President of EmPath For Autism, and Joshua Al-Lateef, Jr’s mother met for the first time. It has been nearly 7 months since Jonisa Cook’s son 6-year-old Joshua Al-Lateef, Jr.’s death. Joshua, who was non-verbal and autistic, was found in a pond near his home.
