Plans to demolish the Oak Harbor Middle School building were temporarily halted on Thursday thanks to a temporary restraining order issued in the Ottawa County Common Pleas Court.
On Feb. 4, Julie Cox, a local citizen associated with a group called Citizens to Save Our School, filed for an emergency motion against the Benton-Carroll-Salem School District to halt the demolition.
