Area High School Students Make Big Contribution

BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-Students from Delphos St. John High School initiated a fundraising campaign named “Cups of Change” during Holy Week to aid tornado victims in their area, hoping to raise $1,000. However, the campaign surpassed expectations, raising $5,857.13.

The students then organized a clean-up day at the Four Seasons RV Campground, where nearly 100 students lost their homes in the tornado. The initiative was coordinated with Logan County Emergency Management Director Helen Norris, aiming to support the affected community by assisting with cleanup efforts and facilitating temporary housing arrangements at the campground.
