ATTICA, Ohio-Students at Seneca East Local Schools are learning the significance of honoring veterans and their country through a week-long event that includes the annual Stars, Stripes, & Lights cross-country meet. This tradition, established over the past four years, connects students with veterans, first responders, and active military members. Students like Valerie Bordner and Evan Schiefer express their appreciation for the opportunity to learn from veterans, recognizing their sacrifices and the privilege of supporting them.
