BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-During the Indian Lake Board of Education’s April meeting, they announced the addition of driver education to the high school curriculum and presented the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award to Jim Jenkins. The board voted to partner with the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center for driver education, aiming to offer it starting in the 2024-25 school year.
Moving to the ILHS auditorium, the board presented the Distinguished Alumni Award to Jim Jenkins, a former teacher, principal, and superintendent known for his dedication to Indian Lake Schools and the community. Numerous letters of recommendation attested to Jenkins’ exceptional contributions, both professionally and personally, making him a deserving recipient of the award.
