GALLIA, Ohio-A woman in Ohio is accused of forcing two children, aged 5 and 4, to stay in a bathtub with scalding hot water, resulting in severe burns over their bodies. First responders were called to the home due to a child having a seizure, where they found extensive burns on one child’s body.
Malynda Harrison, 22, admitted to authorities that she restrained the children in the tub and refused to let them leave or adjust the water temperature. As a result, one child suffered second-degree burns and seizure activity, while the other had first- and second-degree burns. Harrison has been arrested and charged with child endangerment. Both children received medical attention for their injuries.
