SPRINGFIELD, Ohio-Two Springfield firefighters, Robert Bloom and Aaron Lopez, are set to receive the Fire Service Valor Award from the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of State Fire Marshal and Ohio Department of Public Safety Division of EMS.
They will be honored at the annual Ohio Fire Service Hall of Fame & Fire Awards ceremony for their bravery and outstanding service in rescuing a child during an explosion and fire last year.
