Bay Village Schools sees 15% drop in federal Title I funding

Bay Village City Schools has experienced a notable reduction in federal education funding for the current fiscal year, despite recovering from a temporary freeze that affected districts nationwide over the summer. At the Board of Education’s Sept. 22 Federal Programs Annual Meeting, Assistant Superintendent Robert Hoon reported that the district’s Title I allocation has dropped to $62,354 for fiscal year 2026.
