WEST CHESTER, Ohio-Nicole Pelton, a beloved sixth-grade science teacher at Ross Middle School, tragically lost her life in a car crash in West Chester along with her husband, Patrick Pelton. Nicole had dedicated 22 years to teaching and was known for her passionate and engaging approach to science education.
Colleagues remembered her as a beacon of light in the school community, sparking curiosity and excitement in her students. The crash, caused by Gregory Meyer driving the wrong way on Cox Road, resulted in the death of all three individuals involved. Ross Middle School is providing grief counseling and support services to staff and students mourning the loss of Mrs. Pelton.
