LIMA, Ohio-Lima City Schools recognized several teachers and staff members for their long-term dedication to education, with 25 employees honored for reaching milestones of service ranging from 20 to 40 years.
Among those honored was Tina Hamilton-Shoemaker, an Early Childhood Education Teacher at Lima Senior High School, who shared her experience of teaching for 20 years in the district where she herself graduated. Hamilton-Shoemaker expressed her passion for teaching and her commitment to giving back to the community that shaped her education, highlighting the joy of working with former students who have become colleagues.
