April 5th, 2024-MALVERN, Ohio-Malvern Preschool recently achieved a 5-star rating for meeting the quality standards set by the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services and the Ohio Department of Education. This rating is awarded through the Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) system, which recognizes and promotes early learning programs exceeding minimum health and safety regulations. Five-star programs demonstrate high-quality developmentally appropriate instruction, environment, and licensing criteria. The preschool staff includes Mrs. Maggie Russ (intervention specialist), Mrs. Julie Yerrick (paraprofessional), and Mrs. Alicia Paulette (teacher). An open house for interested families to learn more about the program will be held on Friday, April 26.
