April 3rd, 2024-LAWRENCEVILLE, Ohio-A school bus carrying children from Northwestern Local Schools overturned after colliding with a minivan in Lawrenceville, Ohio. The crash resulted in one child’s death and injuries to 23 others, one of whom was seriously injured. The bus, carrying 52 children and a driver, veered onto the shoulder but couldn’t avoid contact with the minivan. Thirteen children were taken to hospitals by emergency personnel, while 10 were transported by family members. The school district established a parent reunification center at a nearby firehouse.
