SHELBY, Ohio-Julie Pfeifer, a teacher at Abraxas, has been honored as one of three recipients of the Crystal Apple Award from School Specialty. This recognition comes with a Crystal Apple trophy, along with merchandise certificates totaling $750. Pfeifer was selected based on her embodiment of inspiration, leadership, and passion, as recognized through a rigorous nomination and voting process.
At Abraxas, Pfeifer teaches math and life skills while also spearheading extracurricular clubs such as Auto Body, 3D Printing, and Book Clubs, providing students with enriching opportunities. Jolene Edwards, Abraxas’s principal, lauds Pfeifer’s dedication and contribution to students’ growth and development.
