Members of the Barnesville Area Classified Employees (BACE) union, attended Tuesday’s school board meeting in force. Union members have worked without a contract since July 1. BACE members are non-teacher employees of the district including bus drivers, secretaries, cooks and aides. BACE President Kelly Leasure spoke on behalf of paraprofessionals who work in the district. She read from a prepared statement written by a BACE member who was in the audience.
