COLUMBUS, Ohio-Columbus police arrested a 16-year-old suspect for the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Caleb McKenzie on June 4, 2024. McKenzie was found injured and unresponsive after a reported traffic crash on Sullivant Avenue in Franklinton.
He was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The suspect, not yet charged as an adult, was taken to the Franklin County juvenile detention center following the arrest on June 18. Police urge anyone with information about the shooting to contact them or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers.
