DELAWARE, Ohio-During the first week of May, students at the Delaware Area Career Center (DACC) celebrated Signing Day, announcing their post-graduation plans which include entering the workforce, pursuing further education, or enlisting in the military. Seniors from various programs at DACC shared their plans and expressed gratitude towards their teachers for their support. Nick Vaughn, a senior in the automotive collision repair program, plans to study automotive technology at Columbus State Community College.
Moira Lewis, studying in the Pharmacy Technician Program, will attend the Doctorate of Pharmacy program at the University of Findlay. Andrew Clase, enrolled in the law enforcement program, intends to join the United States Army, emphasizing the discipline and personal development it offers. Gabby Beaver, also in the law enforcement program, plans to study criminal justice at Columbus State while continuing her work in security. The Signing Day event provided students with an opportunity to share their future plans and celebrate their achievements.
