Franklin school district votes to place 6.3-mill tax levy on May ballot

Franklin City School District’s Board of Education on Monday voted to place a tax levy on the May ballot to cover operating expenses.

The emergency, five-year, 6.301-mill levy would raise $4,519,297 annually and cost $220.54 a year for a house value appraised at $100,000, if approved.
