MANSFIELD, Ohio-Julie Pfeifer of ABRAXAS School has received a $1,495.82 Richland County Foundation Educator Grant to support her “Reading through Different Genres” initiative, which aims to enhance the school library’s book collection. Pfeifer expressed her gratitude for the foundation’s support, emphasizing the excitement of her students for the new books. Kevin Kimmel, Superintendent of the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, praised Pfeifer for her commitment to securing resources for her students. The Richland County Foundation, a major local grant-making organization, oversees over 430 charitable funds aimed at improving community quality of life.
