BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-Indian Lake High School Scholarship Night 2024 was a poignant occasion, acknowledging the challenges faced by the graduating class, including the loss of classmates and the impact of the March tornado. ILHS math teacher Troy Shively commended the seniors for their resilience and community support.
The event also honored Chloe Hodge, who tragically passed away in a car accident, with scholarships presented in her memory. Seniors Devin Rice and Seth Thornburgh were awarded the inaugural scholarships. The ILHS Class of 2024 received a total of 244 local scholarships, amounting to $260,000, demonstrating the community’s commitment to supporting its students’ educational endeavors.
