LYNDHURST, Ohio-At its meeting on May 20, Lyndhurst City Council honored retiring South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools Superintendent Linda N. Reid for her 12 years of service with a resolution. Mayor Patrick Ward expressed appreciation for the collaboration between the city and the school community under Reid’s leadership.
Reid introduced her successor, Dominick Kaple, who has been with the district for several years. The resolution praised Reid for her contributions to the district, including strategic planning, facility upgrades, and technology improvements. Reid’s career began as an elementary school teacher and principal in Garfield Heights before serving as superintendent there. She earned her doctorate in educational leadership from Youngstown State University in 2020.
