MASON, Ohio-The Mason City School District begins its new school year on a staggered schedule with an exciting addition at Ohio’s largest high school: the newly renovated “Dream Center.” This $2 million project combines a library, media center, and creative space, designed to resemble a college campus with ergonomic seating and diverse workspaces. The Dream Center includes an e-sports lounge, makerspace, broadcast studios, and a creative arts stage. A highlight is the student-run “Comet Cafe,” which will offer practical business skills through a dedicated course. Superintendent Jonathan Cooper mentioned that the innovative space aims to enhance college and career readiness for students.
