SIDNEY, Ohio-At the Bent Finger Fly Fishing Camp and Conservation Awareness event at Amos Lake in Tawawa Park on May 13, Northwood Intermediate School student Rickie Carey, assisted by volunteer DC Cordonnier, learned to bait his hook with a wax worm.
Rickie, from Sidney, and other students received free fishing poles and instruction on fishing techniques. Volunteers from the Shelby County Historical Society supported the event.
