DAYTON, Ohio-On Saturday afternoon in Montgomery County, a car crash occurred in the 4800 block of Rean Meadow, involving a stolen vehicle, a 2017 black Acura SUV, from Sugarcreek Township. Six occupants, aged 10 to 18, fled the scene, with five juveniles found in a backyard on Walford Drive.
One occupant was transported to Dayton Children’s South with unspecified injuries. The 14-year-old claiming to be the driver has been charged with various offenses, including receiving stolen property. Witnesses reported the SUV was speeding, reaching up to 50 or 60 miles per hour in a 25 mph zone. Kettering Police Department, with assistance from Centerville Police Department, handled the incident.
