BUCKEYE LAKE, Ohio-Local Buckeye Ruritans recently awarded scholarships through the National Ruritan Scholarship program. The Buckeye Local School District officials announced three recipients: Elizabeth Stock, Grace Browning, and Shayleigh Hornyak. Elizabeth Stock is the granddaughter of long-term member Ralph Nickoson, while Grace Browning is the granddaughter of John Wetherell. The scholarships were presented by President Brian Yanssens and Treasurer Tammy Yanssens, along with long-term member Donny Brannon.
