SIDNEY, Ohio-A 17-year-old, Toribio Antonio “Bennie” Galvan-Whitehead, will be tried as an adult for stabbing two people, resulting in one death. He faces charges of murder and felonious assault after allegedly killing 23-year-old Christian Vaughn and critically injuring a 16-year-old during a fight that began on May 15 and extended into the early hours of May 16. Surveillance footage reportedly shows Galvan-Whitehead attacking the victims with two kitchen knives and pursuing them aggressively, with no evidence of self-defense. He has been transferred to Shelby County Jail with a $500,000 bond. Following the incident, he was arrested after a nine-hour standoff.
