Westlake City Schools Treasurer Todd Hopkins is asking community members to contact state legislators and urge them to proceed carefully when considering bills that would change school funding. Speaking at the Oct. 27 school board meeting, he also asked that the public think carefully before signing petitions calling for the elimination of property taxes in Ohio.
