PLAIN, Ohio-Students in the French program at the end of the school year are gearing up for a unique experience: a two-week trip to France on May 31. Organized by French teacher Julie Filliez, this trip offers students a chance to immerse themselves in French culture. Students prepare for the trip by writing letters in French, which are then sent to French families who will host them during their stay.
They will explore Paris’s landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Saint-Chapelle, experiencing firsthand what they’ve learned in the classroom. Beyond sightseeing, students are excited to experience French culture firsthand. Filliez believes the trip not only enhances students’ French language skills but also provides valuable life experiences. The trip will conclude on June 15, leaving students with unforgettable memories and newfound cultural understanding.
