BLOOMINGDALE , Ohio-The Jefferson County Joint Vocational School administration, led by Principal Andy Long and Assistant Principal Gabrielle Wilson, had their contracts renewed for two more years. The decision was made during the May 21 meeting of the JVS school board.
Superintendent Todd Phillipson expressed confidence in their leadership, praising their contributions to the school’s progress. Over the summer break, upgrades totaling around $125,000 will be made to the media center and early childhood education room, including new flooring, cabinetry, and paint. Other projects discussed include touch-ups in faculty restrooms, space modifications for classrooms, and future plans for replacing interior doors.
