COLUMBUS, Ohio-Ohio Governor Mike DeWine allocated $88 million to Appalachian school districts through the Appalachian Community Innovation Centers Program. Indian Creek Local School District will receive over $6.5 million for a new 14,000 square foot facility at Hills Elementary school.
This will include a health and mental health clinic, day treatment programs, space for an alternative school, Ohio Means Jobs services, and life skills training. Additionally, Bridgeport Exempted Village School District will receive over $13.8 million for a 28,000 square foot addition to Bridgeport High School.
