Fighting back tears, the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Board of Education’s longest serving member, and its president, Cassandra Jones, announced Tuesday that she will be leaving the Board. Elected in 2009, Jones, the mother of three now-grown children who were SE-L students when she joined the board, said that work opportunities led her to the decision to resign.
