April 3rd, 2024-COLUMBUS, Ohio-One of the twin boys involved in a statewide AMBER Alert in Ohio last month has died at around 6 months old. Columbus police responded to a report of a baby not breathing and transported him to Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of death is under investigation, with an autopsy scheduled. The twins, Kason and Kyair Thomass, were the subjects of an AMBER Alert after a car was stolen with them inside on Dec. 20. One child was found near Dayton International Airport, while the other was found in an abandoned car in Indianapolis. Nalah Tamiko Jackson, 24, was arrested on kidnapping charges and indicted on federal counts of kidnapping of a minor. She appeared in federal court but did not enter a plea.
