TOLEDO, Ohio-A 17-year-old was shot outside a hookah lounge in west Toledo during a birthday party. Toledo police responded to the hospital after the victim arrived with a gunshot wound to the upper leg, sustained in the lounge’s parking lot.
According to a friend of the victim, an unknown person approached and pulled out a gun from a fanny pack. The victim underwent surgery and is expected to recover. Police recovered one shell casing from the scene. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers anonymously for a potential reward.
