COLUMBUS, Ohio-During spring break, Columbus City Schools organized the Hop Into A Good Book! Scholastic LitPro Spring Reading Challenge, encouraging students to read during their week off. Students collectively read for a total of 10,227 minutes.
Top participating schools included Columbus Africentric Early College, Cassady Elementary School, and Cranbrook Elementary School. Among the top readers were students like Kadiatou T. from Columbus Spanish Immersion, Iman Z. from Avalon Elementary School, and Koceila I. from Valleyview Elementary School. This initiative celebrated students’ dedication to reading and their commitment to literacy during the break.
