$100K gift to build addiction recovery center for women, children in Lorain County

A combined gift of $100,000 from two Northeast Ohio foundations will help build an addiction recovery center for women with children in Lorain County, the two foundations said in a joint news release.

The recovery center, called Trinity House, is planned to open in October, the foundations said.

The Ode Family Foundation and the Columbia Community Foundation made the combined gift to the Ohio nonprofit The Road to Hope, which operates nearly 30 facilities in Lorain, Erie and Cuyahoga counties, and elsewhere across the state.

This represents the largest gift the Columbia Community Foundation has made in its history, the philanthropy said.
