13 Highland County Athletes Qualify for 2024 OHSAA Track & Field State Tournament

FAIRFIELD, Ohio-Thirteen Highland County athletes secured spots in the 2024 OHSAA Track & Field State Tournament following their performances at the Div. II and Div. III regional meets. Notable achievements include Whiteoak junior Landen Eyre winning the 3200-meter run and Fairfield freshman Remi Moon placing second in the high jump.

McClain’s 4×100 relay team and several individual athletes, including Weston Blair and Brenna Wright, also qualified for state. Lily Barnes from McClain achieved a personal best in the discus event, while Faith Donley from Fairfield set a new school record in the 400-meter dash. Additionally, relay teams involving siblings Sawyer and Weston Blair, and Keegan and Landen Eyre, secured spots in the state tournament.
