COLUMBUS, Ohio-A 13-year-old boy accused of stabbing another teen at a school bus stop near Hilliard had his first court hearing on Tuesday. The incident occurred around 7:20 a.m., and the injured boy was hospitalized but is expected to recover. The court deemed the suspect a threat to public safety, ordering him to remain in a juvenile intervention center until his next hearing. His attorney claimed he is a good student and athlete with no prior behavioral issues, expressing surprise at the allegations. Following the stabbing, Hilliard schools resumed normal operations after temporarily closing four schools and locking down others during a search for the suspect, who was later turned in by his family. His next court date is set for next week.
