VINTON, Ohio-A tragic four-car crash on State Route 93 near McArthur village resulted in the death of a 13-year-old and serious injuries to James Coleman, 36, who was waiting to turn left. The crash occurred when one vehicle struck Coleman’s car from behind, causing it to collide with another vehicle and ultimately striking a fourth vehicle.
The 13-year-old passenger in Coleman’s car was pronounced dead at the scene. While Coleman was transported to Grant Hospital in Columbus with serious injuries, all others involved sustained minor injuries. The road remained closed for nearly three hours for cleanup.
