GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio-A 13-year-old girl was taken into custody after posting threats of violence against several schools in Garfield Heights and Maple Heights on Instagram. The Garfield Heights Police Department learned of the post early on September 9 and responded by increasing security at the schools. They worked with the FBI and ATF to trace the post and identify the suspect. A search warrant was executed at a Garfield Heights home, leading to the girl’s arrest. She will face charges in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court.
