A 13-year-old shot in Toledo on Monday has died from his injuries, police said. Darvelle Nelson, 13, died of his injuries after he was taken to an area hospital, police said. Officers were called out to the 1800 block of Balkan Place Monday afternoon for reports of a shooting. They found Darvelle suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died. It’s unclear what led up to the shooting. No one has been charged in the shooting at this time.
